Frequently asked questions

How does ATP use AI to improve STEM learning?

Through Gali, the AI tutor built into ATP Connect. Gali does not replace the experiment — it sits alongside it. It briefs the teacher before the session, guides each student through the practical steps in real time as they work at the bench, and answers questions as they arise. Afterwards it analyses what each student did, so the teacher can see who struggled and where. The same tutor covers over 200 guided experiments across biology, physics, chemistry, robotics and engineering, in five languages. ATP Connect also points students and teachers to free AI literacy material, including Anthropic's AI Fluency courses, so learners understand the tool as well as use it.

What is ATP's commitment to the environment?

The EcoGrow Pro Line is a vertical hydroponic system built for classrooms: a wheeled metal frame with PVC growing tubes for up to 100 plants, an 80 litre tank and pump, LED grow lighting, and probes monitoring pH, conductivity and temperature continuously. Mobile Labs can be specified off-grid with an optional 215 W monocrystalline solar panel and 60 Ah battery storage at 12.8 V, removing the need for a mains supply. Equipment is built in Italy, carries a three-year warranty, and spare parts and support are available beyond it.

Do we need to build a laboratory to use ATP equipment?

No, and no specialised installation is required either — ATP equipment is designed to work as a plug-in solution. The Mobile Lab is self-contained: it carries its own running water, universal power supply, propane gas tank and portable fume hood, and weighs 140 kg. It turns an ordinary classroom into a working science laboratory with no plumbing, gas lines, building work or contractor. With the optional 215 W solar panel and 60 Ah battery it will also run where there is no mains electricity.

What does ATP actually supply?

Three product lines and a platform. The ATP Mobile Lab is a 140 kg self-contained science laboratory supporting over 200 experiments. ATP Educational Systems are fifteen ready-to-teach kits covering Mechanics, Heat, Optics, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Electricity, Electronics, Robotics and Computer Science, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Plant Physiology and Alternative Energy Sources — each in a portable case with dataloggers, sensors and teacher manuals. The EcoGrow Pro Line is a classroom vertical hydroponic system for up to 100 plants. ATP Connect ties them together with guided experiments and an AI tutor.

What support do teachers get?

Training is included with every ATP product, so teaching staff can run the equipment from the start. ATP Connect then briefs the teacher before each session, and Gali guides students through each experiment step by step in real time; afterwards the platform analyses results student by student, so a teacher can see who struggled and where. Educational Systems ship with printed teacher manuals, dataloggers and sensors. ATP Connect also points teachers to freely available material published by Khan Academy, the Raspberry Pi Foundation, Arduino Education, Harvard University and Anthropic's free AI Fluency courses, so lessons are not limited to one catalogue.

Which subjects and how many experiments are covered?

Over 200 guided experiments across five subjects: biology, physics, chemistry, robotics and engineering. The fifteen Educational Systems add Mechanics, Heat, Optics, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Electricity, Electronics, Robotics and Computer Science, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Plant Physiology and Alternative Energy Sources.

What languages does ATP Connect support?

Five: English, Italian, French, Spanish and Arabic, with full right-to-left support for Arabic. The interface, the guided experiments and Gali's real-time tutoring all run in the selected language.

Where are your products made?

In Italy. All ATP equipment is designed and manufactured in Italy. The Mobile Lab is CE marked and conforms to EN 13150, the European standard for laboratory furniture.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes — three years on all ATP products. Spare parts and technical support are available beyond the warranty period.

Where can I buy your products?

Through ATP's dealer network. Products are sold exclusively via distributor partners, not direct. Delivery lead times vary with demand, so contact ATP at info@atptechnologies.it, on +39 342 829 2903 in Europe or +1 424 464 6799 in the United States with the configuration you need — the team will confirm the current lead time and put you in touch with the nearest dealer.

How can I become a dealer?

Complete the distributor application form on this site. ATP reviews each application and runs an assessment and training process before appointing a partner, so distributors can specify and support the equipment properly.

Who’s behind ATP?

ATP Technologies S.r.l. is based in Rome, with ATP Technologies Inc in Westlake Village, California. The founders bring over 30 years in science education, working with designers and developers from universities and research centres in Europe and the United States. ATP is a member of the Worlddidac Association, Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo and the Camera di Commercio Italo-Libica.
