Two devices, every classroom covered

Traditional probeware means boxes of separate sensors, cables, interfaces and calibration before every lesson. ATP Sensor Lab packs the whole science laboratory into a single, automatically calibrated handheld device — one for secondary science, one for primary STEAM — so teachers spend time on teaching, not on setup.

AI assistant built in

Students ask questions about their own experiment: the AI explains the science, interprets their data and generates a quick quiz to check understanding.

GPS map view with sensor readings plotted as a colour-coded route

GPS layer for outdoor science

Measurements plotted as a colour-coded layer over the map — ideal for environmental studies, field trips and place-based learning.

Live data & analysis

Real-time gauges, graphs and tables; markers, zoom, statistics, regression and derivatives. One-click Bluetooth or USB — no pairing, no drivers.

Coding driven by sensor values

Drag-and-drop Blockly programming: log data and trigger actions based on measurements, bringing computational thinking into science.

External sensors & electrodes

Plug into the universal input to extend any SciencePod.

ATP SteamBox™

Science, coding, control and art — one device for primary school

ATP SteamBox controlling a light bulb through its voltage outputs

SteamBox turns a first science lesson into a first coding lesson. Five calibration-free sensors, a full-colour LED display and outputs for servos and lamps let young learners measure, program, control and create — all from a palm-sized unit with a 12-hour battery, USB and Bluetooth.

36 lesson plans for science, coding, math, control and art are included, from a pixel-art flower to code that opens its petals when sunlight hits the light sensor.

01

Sensing

Five calibration-free built-in sensors — temperature, light, sound, distance and voltage — ready the moment it switches on.

02

Science datalogging

Up to 100 samples/s and 80,000 stored readings; gauges and pictographs designed for K-6, graphs and tables as students grow.

03

Control

Sensor conditions trigger outputs: two servo drivers, two 5 V outputs and two switches turn SteamBox into a small robotics brain.

04

Coding

Blockly / Scratch-style blocks and a Python editor with blocks-to-Python; flash the code to the device over USB or Bluetooth.

05

Animation studio

Pixel art and 3-layer animations on the full-colour 16×16 LED display — 30 animations or 1,800 still images on board.

06
